YES! We’ll be partying on a moving train! The train departs at 7pm sharp, so please arrive at your ticket time–it won’t wait for you.
The train ride will be an hour and a half and there are no bathrooms on board, so plan accordingly. There are bathrooms at the station.

The welcome party on Saturday evening will end around 8:30pm
The wedding reception on Sunday will end around 5:30pm
The afterparty has no official end time.

If your child is named on your invitation they are invited to join us for the welcome party on Saturday and the wedding ceremony on Sunday.
Although kids are not invited to the cocktail hour and reception on Sunday, we are throwing a party for all kids named on your invitation in order to accommodate our littlest family members and friends. See the next question for details.

We adore our little nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, but we really want the opportunity to celebrate with our adult family and friends, so we decided to throw the kiddos a party of their own! And let’s be honest, they will have way more fun at the kid party–I mean, the theme is cows and pickles for cryin’ out loud!
We have hired a team of expert caretakers and planned special entertainment in a private room at the venue. Parents, you are, of course, welcome to visit your kiddos at any time, but we hope you will spend the majority of the time celebrating with us at the reception.
The Cow Pickle Party begins right after the wedding ceremony (around noon). We’ll let you know where to drop off your child before heading to the cocktail hour and reception. The kids party will end at 5:30pm (when the reception ends), and everyone (including the kiddos) is welcome to join us for the afterparty downstairs.
The nannies are a team of vetted professionals led by Tori (a grown-up). A social worker by day, Tori is first-aid and child CPR certified. She is part of the staff at the venue so she is not new to childcare during events and has a plan in place for every eventuality. We are happy to put you in touch with Tori in advance if you’d like.
Once we have received your RSVP, we will reach out to get more information about your child (likes, dislikes, food preferences, routine, allergies/medical information, etc.) to pass along to Tori. We will also provide a “packing list” of items Tori has requested (change of clothes, diapers, bottles, etc.).
If you have any questions or concerns about the Cow Pickle Party, please get in touch with us!

Have fun with your outfits! Think bright colors. Wear that thing you’ve been wanting to wear.
To the welcome party: Smart Casual. This means a nice outfit, no jeans, t-shirts or sneakers.
To the wedding: Cocktail Attire. Dress up, but not formal. Come ready to celebrate!

There will not be a shuttle to/from any events. You can find a list of local Taxi companies at the bottom of the Transportation page, and Uber/Lyft is also an option. Be sure to leave yourself plenty of time or schedule your ride in advance because drivers are not as close as you may be used to.
We recommend carpooling when possible.

See the Accommodations page for more info and places to stay.

Did it seem at all familiar? It’s a vinyl record sleeve!
Why? We have two goals for our wedding planning:
Save money when possible
Do it as sustainably as possible
For those reasons, we got creative with the invitation, which is made entirely by hand by us.
The main invitation is made using rubber stamps on vinyl record sleeves, so each one is unique! We created the stamp design together and worked with John Casey, of the iconic Casey Rubber Stamps shop in the West Village of Manhattan, to make them real. We then spent a weekend mixing colors and stamping away!
We hope you like them. We do!
